DREAMBOX AND SKY UK TV

DREAMBOX AND SKY UK TV

What is: FTA satellite TV

Well, free-to-air means that a given channel transmitted from an orbiting satellite to the Earth's surface directly to the
satellite dish on your property, is unencrypted and needs no additional hardware or software to decode it other than the standard tuner and firmware inside your DVB-compliant satellite receiver. DVB is the standard video format for satellite transmissions in Europe, and is not a type of encryption or 'scrambling'.
